Theory Test
The Theory Test consists of two elements,
50 multiple choice questions of which you must achieve 43 correct answers,
and hazard perception clips (14) developing hazards to be identified, candidates must achieve 44 out of 75 to pass.
Practical Test
The Practical Test lasts around 40 minutes.
Candidates will be asked a safety question at the start of the test, and one safety question whilst driving.
1 in 3 tests will conduct an emergency stop, 1 out of 3 reverse/parking manoeuvres and general driving, which will include a maximum of 20 minutes of independent driving
(following traffic signs or following sat nav. ) will be covered.
15 driving faults are allowed and although an accumulation of driving faults in one area may result in a fail, no serious or dangerous faults are allowed.
